SplatScene Privacy Policy

Overview

SplatScene is a macOS desktop app for opening, viewing, styling, and exporting 3D Gaussian Splatting scenes. We designed SplatScene to process your files locally on your device whenever possible.

Data We Collect

SplatScene does not collect personal information, does not create a user account, and does not upload your scene files to external servers for processing.

Files and Local Storage

• SplatScene can open files that you explicitly choose through the standard macOS file picker.
• SplatScene can save screenshots, videos, and GIF exports to locations you explicitly choose.
• The app may store local preferences on your device, such as recent files, interface settings, and rendering preferences, to improve the user experience.

Network Access

SplatScene may use outbound network connections for app functionality such as purchase-related services or app service communication. It does not operate a public server and does not accept incoming network connections.

Analytics and Tracking

SplatScene does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking technology.

Children's Privacy

SplatScene is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
