- SplatScene opens SPZ, PLY, SPLAT, SOG, SOGS, KSPLAT and RAD files. Drag a file onto the window, or set SplatScene as the default app to open them by double-click.
- What are the system requirements?
- SplatScene requires macOS 13 Ventura or later on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer).
- Can SplatScene train a scene from photos?
- Yes. The Create tab turns a folder of photos or a video into a new Gaussian Splatting scene entirely on-device — smart frame selection, COLMAP alignment and Quick / Standard / High quality presets are built in, with nothing uploaded to the cloud.

- Yes. Monthly and yearly SplatScene Pro subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, then renew at $1/month or $11/year. Prefer to pay once? Pro Lifetime is a one-time $20 purchase that never renews.
- What can I do for free?
- Viewing, the five visual effects, the edit toolbox, saving edits to your project library, one training run, and screenshots or recordings are free. Free captures carry a small SplatScene watermark. Pro removes the watermark, removes the training limit and unlocks PLY export.

- Pro adds unlimited training runs, watermark-free screenshots and recordings, and PLY export for trained or edited models. Editing and saving to your project library stay free. Pro is $1/month or $11/year with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, or a one-time $20 lifetime purchase.
- Can I export screenshots or videos?
- Yes. SplatScene supports PNG screenshots, MP4 and WebM video recording, and GIF export. Captures are watermarked on the free tier; Pro captures are watermark-free.
- Which languages are supported?
- The app supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian.
